Mental Health & Prevention Awards 2022

In order to promote excellence in research on prevention of mental disorders and promotion of mental health, Mental Health & Prevention has established the Mental Health & Prevention Outstanding Researcher Awards.

These awards are given for excellence in research, relative to opportunity, as judged by significant publications, innovations in intervention, and practical impact within the field of mental health prevention. The awardees will receive a certificate and their achievements will be announced in the Journal. Closing date for applications is 31st December 2022.

There are three levels of awards:

  • Early Career Research Award. Eligible researchers are those who received a PhD (or equivalent) between 1 January 2018 and 31 December 2021.
  • Mid-Career Researcher Award. Eligible researchers are those who received a PhD (or equivalent) between 1 January 2012 and 31 December 2017.
  • Senior Researcher Award. Eligible researchers are those who received a PhD (or equivalent) before 1 January 2012.
